HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!! Posted by Hello

Steven played in his first T-ball game today. He played left and right field, and got to bat twice. He had a great time playing despite the cold and rain. His next game is on June 1, so look for an update after that! (They don't keep score in T-ball, so neither team "wins" or "loses". Everyone just has fun playing the game.) Posted by Hello

Steven had a rough but fun first T ball practice. He was tired, so he was a bit cranky and cried twice. He was really excited to get his uniform and ball cap, though! He is number 1 on the Valdez Fuel Co. team. His first game is tomorrow, so I will take the camcorder and the camera out and hopefully get some good pictures and video! Posted by Hello

Dan went to Anchorage for the weekend and got Hannah some cute new clothes. He said he got the dress pictured below because it is the most beautiful dress he has ever seen. It is gorgeous on Hannah! Steven has his first T ball practice tonight, so if it's not wet out I will get some pictures. Posted by Hello

Hannah says, "I'm SOOOOO cute!!" Note the pic on the mirror on the left, it looks like she is dancing too! Posted by Hello

Hannah is thrilled to see the baby in the mirror! Posted by Hello

This is the best shot I think. I played with it to get this artistic effect. Posted by Hello

Steven won first place in the superhero costume contest as PajamaBoy! I made his impromptu mask out of a paper plate.  Posted by Hello

Here is the tent we decorated for the Relay after about 22 hours of nonstop rain. We won Second place! The orange thing on top is a parachute. Posted by Hello

Last night we participated in the Relay for Life event in Valdez, benefitting the American Cancer Society. I walked in honor of my grandfather, James Goutierez, who died 4/30/1991 of lung cancer. I donated money to get a Luminaria made in his honor. The local elementary students decorated the bags, and I supplied this pic of him. The weather was really awful, raining all night. I think this made the Luminarias even more symbolic, since the candles inside burned brightly despite the rain. Thank you to all of our family members that donated to ACS through us! Dan and I were able to raise over $640!!! Posted by Hello

Here is a picture of Grandpa's Luminaria all liit up. Notice the beautiful mountain background and low cloud ceiling. Posted by Hello

This is looking around the curve of the track. Grandpa's is the bottom one. Posted by Hello

Here is a shot looking down the track at all the Luminarias. Grandpa's is easy to pick out, second from the bottom. There were 344 bags total around the track. It was beautiful! Posted by Hello
