Playing and giggling take a lot out of a little girl! Hannah enjoys a nap on Daddy. ZZZzzzzzz.... Posted by Picasa

Hannah is eight months old now! I can't believe how fast the time is going! We will be in Georgia on vacation in less that three weeks! We are all so excited to be visiting both of our families this year. I am looking forward to meeting Dan's extended family, finally!

Steven and Sheila stopped and participated in the most environmentally friendly form of graffiti ever...Rock names! We added "Waters" to an embankment, and Steven threw rocks at me while I was trying to get his picture. Posted by Picasa

Here is one of the beautiful rainbows Steven and Sheila saw on the way home from Anchorage. It eventually became very tall and thin, and had a second one appear faintly beside it. It was gorgeous! Posted by Picasa

Boy I have been posting a bunch of pictures and haven't been really writing what's been going on! Sheila's sister, Michelle, and her son Julian came up to visit us from New Orleans. We have had a good time visiting and I am driving her back to Anchorage tomorrow so they can fly home. We will see them again in August when we go to the beach house in Savannah. Julian has had a fantastic time getting to know Dan. Unca Dan, Unca Dan, UNCA DAN! That's about all we've heard for the last two days! Today we drove up Mineral Creek Canyon and checked out some great waterfalls. We did a lot of off roading and got to go down and put our hands in the creek. The water was super cold and running really fast. I would have liked the weather to have been clearer. It was really rainy and cloudy. Hopefully we will get to see some sunshine and wildlife tomorrow on our drive!  Posted by Picasa

Michelle, Julian, Dan, Hannah, Sheila, and Steven all stand in front of a waterfall in Mineral Creek Canyon. We took our first family picture in Alaska two years ago in front of this same waterfall.  Posted by Picasa
